The CarPAL application is the only tool that can be used for the setup and operation of the following Bluetooth and Wi-Fi models.

CarPAL Bluetooth Device Pairing Instructions with Your Smartphone

1. Connect your CarPAL device to the socket located under your vehicle’s steering wheel or cigarette lighter area and turn on the ignition. Ensure the lights on the device are lit.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. When your phone detects the CarPAL Connect Bluetooth device named “OBDII,” select it to connect.
4. If prompted for a password, use 1234 or 0000 to complete the connection.
5. Once pairing is complete, launch the CarPAL application.
6. Enter the license code provided to you to connect to your car.
   • To enter the license code, select a service point on the map, click the Check button, and input your license key.
7. Close and reopen the application.
8. After completing the registration process, start your vehicle.
9. The CarPAL app will automatically connect to your vehicle.
   • You can observe the changes in the km and rpm values on the main screen once the vehicle is running.

CarPAL Wi-Fi Device Pairing Instructions with Your Smartphone

1. Plug your CarPAL Connect device into the socket under your steering wheel or next to the cigarette lighter area, and turn on the ignition. Ensure the lights on the device are lit.
2. Enable Wi-Fi on your smartphone.
3. When your phone detects the CarPAL Connect Wi-Fi device named “WIFI_OBDII,” select it to connect.
4. If prompted for a password, use 1234 or 0000 to complete the connection.
5. Go to your iPhone’s Settings → Wi-Fi menu.
6. Select the WiFi-OBDII connection.
7. Choose the “Configure IP” menu.
8. In the next screen, select “Manual” from the options.
9. Enter the following details in the appropriate fields under Manual IP:
   • IP Address: 192.168.0.20
   • Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
   • Router: 192.168.0.10
10. Save the settings and exit the screen. This will allow you to connect to the WIFI_OBDII device in the background without interrupting your internet connection.
11. Once pairing is complete, launch the CarPAL application. If it was already open, close and reopen it.
12. Enter the license code provided to you to connect to your car.
    • To enter the license code, select a service point on the map, click the Check button, and input your license key.
13. Close and reopen the application.
14. After completing the registration process, start your vehicle.
    • (If you encounter issues during registration, try disabling Wi-Fi and attempting the registration process again.)
15. The CarPAL app will automatically connect to your vehicle.
    • You can observe the changes in the km and rpm values on the main screen once the vehicle is running.
